Hamilton movers moving offices/homes/pianos/pool tables: Terry Jaszkowski, the major shareholder of Pro Moves, was born and raised in Hamilton Ontario. Terry attended Mohawk College in Hamilton for two years, then transferred to Concordia University in Montreal Quebec, in 1981. Summer employment with the van lines, performing residential and commercial moving jobs, paid for Terry’s tuition, which resulted in a B.A. in Economics.
After graduating, Terry worked for a couple of small Hamilton movers; one Hamilton moving company specialized in office moving and the other in home moving. It was obvious that the national van lines offered superior commercial and residential moving services, when compared to the small Hamilton movers, but at much higher rates; the small local movers from Hamilton, Burlington, and Ancaster offered lower rates with usually inferior levels of service on home and office moves.
With experience in home and office moving for both big and small Hamilton movers, Terry found his niche; “Better service. Lower rates.” Commercial and residential moving in Hamilton could be achieved by combining, superior, personalized, professional moving services, with a lean business model that was free of royalty payments, franchise fees, and other non-essential overhead costs. Terry wanted Pro Moves be known as, The Moving Professionals; therefore the name Pro Moves was chosen.
